Metal bond diamond tools are mainly produced by electroplating and powder metallurgy. The powder metallurgy method is also called the cermet method, such as hot pressing sintering, cold pressing sintering, pressureless sintering, pressureless impregnation, vacuum or atmosphere protection sintering, immersion and so on.


Hot pressing sintering is divided into electric hot pressing (including resistance hot pressing, electric spark hot pressing), intermediate frequency hot pressing, and hot isostatic pressing.
